Dans ce livre, les gens, les animaux, les objets fabriqués par l’homme, elle-même et la nature ont tous des âmes et émettent la vie en tant qu’organismes vivants, comme si dans une vision du monde animiste ; comparant toute vie à une goutte de pluie et célébrant toute vie qui peut être courte et fugace.
Les photographies ont été prises à Hokkaido, Okinawa (et ses îles environnantes d’Iriomote et d’Aguni), Kagoshima, Kikaijima, la région du Tōhoku (Akita, Aomori, Nagano et Niigata), Tokyo, Osaka, le mont Kōya, Rotterdam aux Pays-Bas, Gullfoss en Islande et les Açores de Macaronésie.
Le livre contient une préface, en japonais, écrite par Eriko Masaoka, avec une traduction anglaise.

Without a specific intention in mind, Masaoka decided on her destinations, followed her thoughts, and continued her journey while taking pictures. Subsequent to a decade in the making, this story was concluded.
In this book, people, animals, man-made objects, herself, and nature all have souls and emit life as living organisms, as if in an animistic worldview; comparing all life to a drop of rain and celebrating all life that may be short and fleeting.
