Instant Moments, la première monographie du photographe suédois Jorgen Axelvall, basé à Tokyo, raconte une courte vie passée dans un appartement new-yorkais à travers des photographies et le, et a été publié en 2013, l’année où il a remporté le prix Vogue x Bottega Veneta New Exposure. Le livre charmant et convivial est composé de photos de films Polaroid Instant qu’Axelvall a prises de sa vie quotidienne et des amis qu’il s’est fait en vivant à Brooklyn dans les années 2000. Il a été conçu par Tetsuya Chihara, qui a été libre après avoir entendu les histoires derrière les images.

Jorgen AXELVALL est un photographe suédois actuellement basé à Tokyo. Avant de déménager à Tokyo en 2011, AXELVALL a vécu et travaillé à New York pendant 15 ans. Plusieurs des photographies lui ont valu le New Exposure Award de US Vogue et Bottega Veneta en 2013. Il a déjà publié deux livres et expose fréquemment. Son travail a été présenté au Centre national des Arts et à l’ambassade de Suède, à la fois à Tokyo, et dans des galeries à Tokyo, New York et L.A.

Instant Moments, Tokyo-based Swedish-born photographer Jorgen Axelvall’s first monography, chronicles a short life spent in a New York flat through photographs and the, and was published in 2013, the year he won the Vogue x Bottega Veneta New Exposure Award. The charming, friendly book is composed of Polaroid Instant film photos that Axelvall took of his everyday life and the friends he made while living in Brooklyn in the 2000s. It was designed by Tetsuya Chihara, who was given free reign after hearing the stories behind the images.

Jorgen AXELVALL is a photographer from Sweden currently based in Tokyo. Before moving to Tokyo in 2011 AXELVALL lived and worked in New York for 15 years. Several of the photographs earned him the New Exposure Award from US Vogue and Bottega Veneta in 2013. He has previously published two books and exhibitS frequently. His work has been shown at National Arts Center and Embassy of Sweden, both in Tokyo, and at galleries in Tokyo, NYC and L.A.
