Photographe documentariste né au Bangladesh en 1983. Il commence sa carrière au Daily Star, journal anglophone du Bangladesh. Il a ensuite été membre de l’agence Driknews pendant deux ans. En 2007, il participe à la MasterClass de Joop Swart dans le cadre du World Press Photo. En 2008, il reçoit les prix « F25 » de la Fabrica et « Jeune Reporter » de la ville de Perpignan. Son travail a été exposé notamment au Musée métropolitain de photographie de Tokyo ou encore à la galerie Getty en Angleterre. Il est aujourd’hui membre de l’agence VU.

Munem Wasif is a documentary photographer born in Bangladesh in 1983. Wasif started his photographic career as a feature photographer for the Daily Star, a leading English daily of Bangladesh. He worked for two years with Driknews agency. In 2007, he was selected for the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in the Netherlands. In 2008, he won International Award « F25 » of the Fabrica and « Jeune Reporter » in Perpignan. His work is exhibited worldwide. Including Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in Japan and Getty Image Gallery in England. He is represented through Agency VU in Paris.
