Kavi Pujara a commencé à photographier le quartier autour du Golden Mile de Leicester pour renouer avec la ville, ses habitants et son propre passé après 30 ans de vie à Londres. Les images qui en résultent forment This Golden Mile qui est exposé à la Fondation Martin Parr en octobre pour coïncider avec ce livre.

Kavi Pujara began to photograph the neighbourhood around Leicester’s Golden Mile as a way to reconnect with the city, its residents and his own past after 30 years of living in London. The resulting images form This Golden Mile which will be exhibited at Martin Parr Foundation in October to coincide with this publication.
