Lee Miller in Print est l’aboutissement d’années de recherche sur l’œuvre publiée de Miller. Cette recherche a permis de découvrir de nombreux exemples inédits du travail de Miller dans les archives de dizaines de magazines – des titres bien connus tels que Harper’s Bazaar et Vogue aux périodiques d’avant-garde à petit tirage. Le livre offre un riche aperçu du travail de Miller et contient des textes de, entre autres, la commissaire Saskia van Kampen-Prein. L’exposition au Dépôt Boijmans Van Beuningen présente une centaine de magazines historiques, des tirages vintage, des films, des documents d’archives et bien plus encore.

Lee Miller in Print is the culmination of years of research into Miller’s published body of work. This research has uncovered numerous previously unknown examples of Miller’s work in the archives of dozens of magazines – from well-known titles such as Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue to small-circulation avant-garde periodicals. The book provides a rich overview of Miller’s work and contains texts by, among others, curator Saskia van Kampen-Prein. The exhibition at Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen features approximately a hundred historical magazines, vintage prints, films, archival materials and much more.
