Sur une période de deux ans, Alys Tomlinson a documenté les costumes et masques traditionnels portés pendant les festivals et les célébrations sur les îles de la lagune vénitienne, la Sicile et la Sardaigne.

The photographs in Gli Isolani (The Islanders) by Alys Tomlinson, inhabit a hinterland between fiction and reality. Over a period of two years, Tomlinson documented the traditional costumes and masks worn during festivals and celebrations on the islands of the Venetian lagoon, Sicily and Sardinia.

Les images publiées pour la première fois dans ce nouveau livre, Gli Isolani (The Islanders), ont été exposées au Hacklebury Fine Art de Londres du 7 septembre au 29 octobre 2022.
