Il comprend les deux séries légendaires de Ikko Narahara, « Chinmoku no Sono » (photographiées dans un monastère trappiste) et « Kabe no Naka » (photographiée dans une prison pour femmes), seront enfin disponibles à nouveau sous la forme de « Domains ».
Domains is enacted on two stages: the first, ‘F=Garden of Silence’, is the Trappist monastery in Tobetsu, Hokkaido, while the second, ‘Within the Walls’, is the women’s prison in Wakayama. Like Human Land, the series is organized in two parts, but shifts from physical isolation to psychologically extreme conditions.

Plus de 200 pages remplies de photographies célèbres et moins connues, « Memories of Light » retrace la carrière du photographe japonais exceptionnel et explore les liens entre la vie de Moriyama et les œuvres qu’il a produites.
Beginning with “Japan, A Photo Theater”, the catalogue orders Moriyama’s photographic work chronologically and embeds it within the artist’s biographical background. Over 200 pages filled with famous and lesser known photographs, “Memories of Light” traces the career of the exceptional Japanese photographer and explores the connections between Moriyama’s life and the works he produced.
