Maintenant, sur ces pages, il y a le rassemblement d’une sélection de portraits, paysages et architectures du Nord de l’Afrique, grâce à un travail méticuleux de conservation effectué par le Musée de l’Université de Navarre, ainsi que les recherches entreprises par le commissaire et universitaire Javier Ortiz-Echagüe, le petit-fils du photographe, qui a écrit la facilité approfondie qui accompagne ce travail. Cette édition conserve l’esprit des livres que José Ortiz Echagüe a publiés de son vivant.

Now, on these pages , there is the gathering of a selec tion pf portraits, landscapes and architectures of the North of Africa, thanks to a meticulous work of conservation carried out by t he University of Navarra Museum, as well as the research undertaken by the curator and academic Javier Ortiz-Echagüe, the grandson o f the photographer, who has writen the thorough eassy that accompanies this work. This edition preserves the sprit of the books that José Ortiz Echagüe published durin his lifetime.
