Lachi Marco

Le photographe italien Marco Lachi présente un livre sur le paysage, sur les éléments (anthropiques et naturels) qui le composent, sur le processus qui le produit et le crée, et sur le sentiment d’appartenance perturbant qu’il génère chez l’observateur. C’est aussi un livre sur le témoignage d’une expérience visuelle et existentielle singulière : celle d’un territoire qui se situe idéalement et physiquement entre les terres provinciales et le caractère rural des routes moins fréquentées. À travers les images, Lachi révèle la complexité technique et culturelle de cette pratique, sa réflexion stylistique et formelle qui se nourrit certes des références mais aussi de la patience du regard et de la profondeur du sentiment.

Italian photographer Marco Lachi presents a book about the landscape, about the elements (both anthropic and natural) that compose it, about the process that produces and creates it, and about the feeling of disturbing belonging that it generates in the observer. It is also a book about the testimony of a singular visual and existential experience: that of a territory that ideally and physically lies between provincial lands and the rural character of roads less travelled. Through images, Lachi reveals the technical and cultural complexity of this practice, its stylistic and formal reflection, which is certainly nourished by references, but also by the patience of the gaze and the depth of feeling.
