Ylla de son vrai nom Camilla Koffler (1911-1955) se consacre exclusivement au portrait animalier à une époque où personne n’avait pensé à photographier uniquement des animaux. Poussée par sa relation symbiotique avec les animaux, elle a créé un nouveau genre dans la photographie animalière : l’expression et la personnalité des animaux. Ylla of her native name Kamilla Koffler (1911–55) devoted herself exclusively to animal portraiture at a time when no one had thought of only photographing animals.
