Il buvait avec eux, faisait la fête et commençait à leur parler. À partir de 1980, il a pris son vieil appareil Rolleiflex et un bon flash avec lui et a pris plus d’un millier de portraits. Il a placé ses membres du public de Paradiso sur un fond neutre (les carreaux des toilettes, un mur dans le couloir) et les a photographiés en noir et blanc contrastant frontalement et avec désinvolture.
He drank with them, partied with them and started talking to them. From 1980 onwards he took his old Rolleiflex camera and a good flash with him and took over a thousand portraits. He placed his choice of Paradiso audience members against a neutral background (the tiles of the toilet, a wall in the hallway) and photographed them frontally and casually in high-contrast black and white.
