C’était mon désir de transmettre aux autres l’essence de ce monde, qui m’a inspiré à devenir photographe. J’ai d’abord visité la Syrie en 1987. Les Bédouins sont des nomades qui vivent dans les déserts du Moyen-Orient.
Nous avons tendance à voir les gens et les choses avec des yeux biaisés. Préjugé, présomption, jalousie, etc….
Cependant, lorsque j’ai visité la famille bédouine pour la première fois, ils m’ont vu avec des yeux totalement neufs. Ils m’ont accepté même si j’étais une femme japonaise étrange. Après cela, ils m’ont accueilli sans jamais me juger chaque fois que j’ai amené mon mari et mon fils.
Il est très important de connaître la situation actuelle de la Syrie. De même, je crois qu’il est plus important de savoir à quel point la Syrie est merveilleuse. Maintenant, j’aimerais que le plus de gens possible voient la Syrie avec des yeux impartiaux.
It was my desire to convey to others the essence of that world,which inspired me to become a photographer.I first visited Syria in 1987. Bedouins are nomads who live in the deserts of the Middle East.
We tend to see people and things with biased eyes. Prejudice, presumption, jealousy, etc….
However, when I visited the Bedouin family for the first time, they saw me with utterly unbiased eyes. They accepted me even though I was a strange Japanese woman. After that, they welcomed me with unbiased eyes whenever I brought my husband and son.It is very important to know the present situation of Syria.
Similarly ,I believe it is more important to know how wonderful Syria is.
Now I would like as many people as possible to see Syria with unbiased eyes. -
