About the Author
Simon Bainbridge is an arts editor specialising in contemporary photography. He is the editorial director of 1854 Media, and has served as the principal editor of British Journal of Photography since 2003. He has curated two photography exhibitions and initiated the UK’s largest annual public exhibition, ‘Portrait of Britain’.
