Après avoir terminé mes études secondaires en juin 1962, je me suis rendu aux États-Unis pour vivre pendant un an avec ma famille dans le New Jersey, à environ une heure à l’ouest de New York. J’y ai fait quelques petits boulots et suivi des cours du soir, mais j’avais beaucoup de temps libre.
After finishing high school in June 1962, I traveled to the United States to live for a year with my relatives in New Jersey, about an hour west of New York. There I did a bit of odd jobs and took some evening courses but had a lot of free time.
