Réalisées entre 2018 et 2022, les photographies de ce livre errent dans un paysage urbain indéfinissable, enregistrant des scènes qui oscillent entre le mystérieux et le banal. Des graffitis énigmatiques, des vignes et des fils enchevêtrés, du verre fissuré, des portes fermées et des portraits des jeunes qui vivent ici : ces moments sont ponctués de notes et d’observations privées sur iPhone, de rappels domestiques et de listes. Disposés en séquence, les photographies et le texte de ce livre forment un récit onirique qui rejette toute conclusion définitive. Il cherche plutôt des schémas et des rythmes qui peuvent faire écho à la fragilité de l’appartenance et à l’avenir incertain qui nous attend.

Made between 2018-2022, the photographs in this book wander through a nondescript urban landscape, recording scenes that oscillate between the mysterious and mundane. Enigmatic graffiti, tangled vines and wires, cracked glass, boarded-up doorways and portraits of the young people who live here: these moments are punctuated with private iPhone notes and observations, domestic reminders, and lists. Arranged in sequence, the photographs and text in this book form a dreamlike narrative that rejects any sort of definitive conclusion. It instead looks for patterns and rhythms that may echo the fragility of belonging, and the uncertain future facing us.
