Ce deuxième volume de la collection ‘Archivo Nómada’ contient près de 2500 photographies, pour la plupart inédites, prises par le photographe espagnol Alberto García-Alix. Des portraits en noir et blanc d’hommes, de femmes, de bébés et d’objets intrigants révèlent son environnement et sa vie quotidienne avec une honnêteté brute et poétique. Cette période (1982-1986) reflète également les bouleversements politiques, sociaux et culturels de l’époque en Espagne, comme la fin de la Transition et La Movida. Entre-temps, cela correspond au début de sa professionnalisation en tant que photographe, dans laquelle il a commencé à utiliser le format moyen, l’une des caractéristiques les plus caractéristiques de son travail.

This second volume of the ‘Archivo Nómada’ collection contains nearly 2,500 photographs, mostly unpublished, taken by Spanish photographer Alberto García-Alix. Black and white portraits of men, women, babies, and intriguing objects reveal his surroundings and daily life with a poetic, raw honesty. This period (1982–1986) also captures the era’s political, social, and cultural upheaval in Spain, such as the end of the Transition and La Movida. Meanwhile it corresponds to the beginning of his professionalization as a photographer, in which he began to use the medium format, one of the most characteristic features of his work.
