The photo project Am Weg is the final part of Hans-Christian Schink’s trilogy of long-term photographic investigations into the surroundings of his home in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (after Hinterland, 2019 and Unter Wasser, 2022).

Volker Hinz (1947-2019) était l’un des grands photographes allemands du XXe siècle et du début du XXIe siècle. Il a lui-même sélectionné les photos pour le deuxième volume « Carrousel » de la trilogie du livre (édité par son épouse Henriette Väth-Hinz) pour une exposition en 2015.
