Quand nous parlons de « Ba ling hou » (né après les années 1980) en Chine, nous parlons en fait de la première génération née sous la politique de l’enfant unique et élevée pendant la réforme et l’ouverture menée par Deng Xiaoping après la révolution culturelle (1966-1976).
Cette génération a grandi avec Internet et les médias sociaux, se fondant dans une société de consommation qui est totalement en rupture avec les générations précédentes. Luo Yang, une photographe née en 1984, en fait également partie.
When we talk about “Ba ling hou” (born after the 1980s) in China, we are actually talking about the first generation born under the one-child policy and raised during the reform and opening up led by Deng Xiaoping after the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976).
This generation grew up together with the Internet and social media, melting into a consumer society that is totally in rupture with the preceding generations. Luo Yang, a photographer born in 1984, is also one of them.
