Ars Cameralis Festival in Poland is revisiting Mark Steinmetz’s life and works with a retrospective exhibition at Schoena Palace Museum in Sosnowiec.
« Taken From Light » is curated by Misha Kominek and Marek Zieliński, a selection of around 140 black and white images covering his entire career.
Pour compléter cette rétrospective, « Taken From Light » est également une publication de 368 pages publiée par Kominek Books à Berlin, comprenant des textes de Steinmetz lui-même, Sandra Philips, curatrice émérite de la photographie, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art et Andrew Szegedy-Maszak, professeur d’études classiques, Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut. Avec texte en anglais et en polonais.
To complement that retrospective, « Taken From Light » is also a 368-page publication published by Kominek Books in Berlin, including texts by Steinmetz himself, Sandra Philips, Curator Emeritus of Photography, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Andrew Szegedy-Maszak, Professor of Classical Studies, Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut.
