Le photographe allemand Herbert List (1903-1975) est connu pour son travail commercial avec des magazines comme Vogue et Life. En 1944, il a photographié les mannequins de cire et les automates à l’intérieur du Prater de Vienne, un champ de foire de longue date, alors abandonné. Sur la base de l’ébauche originale de List, cette publication présente cette série dans son intégralité.

German photographer Herbert List (1903-1975) was known for his commercial work with magazines such as Vogue and Life. In 1944, he photographed the wax mannequins and automata inside Vienna’s Prater, a long-standing, then-derelict fairground. Based on List’s original draft, this publication presents this series in full.
