Guillaume Simoneau : Murder
La genèse du nouveau livre de Guillaume Simoneau, Murder, date du printemps 1982. À peu près au même moment où Masahisa Fukase produisait son chef-d’œuvre d’après-guerre Karasu (Ravens), la famille de Guillaume Simoneau adopta un nid plein de bébés corbeaux orphelins d’un arbre tombé.
The genesis of Guillaume Simoneau’s new book, Murder, is in spring 1982. At around the same time Masahisa Fukase was producing his post-war masterpiece Karasu (Ravens), Simoneau’s family adopted a nest full of baby crows orphaned from a fallen tree.

La photographe de Chicago Laura Letinsky (née en 1962) est connue pour ses représentations des restes d’aliments et d’objets communs à la table à manger, allant d’un verre de vin à moitié vide enduit de rouge à lèvres à des gâteaux croqués sur des fruits mûrs. Ces œuvres ont généralement utilisé un véritable plateau de table comme leur point d’origine.
Chicago-based photographer Laura Letinsky (born 1962) is known for her depictions of the remnants of foods and objects common to the dining table, ranging from a lipstick-smeared half-empty wine glass to nibbled-upon cakes over ripe fruits. These works have commonly used an actual tabletop as their point of origin.
