Comme le précédent Littoral Drift + Ecotone de Riepenhoff, cette œuvre est réalisée en collaboration avec le paysage, où des éléments de l’eau et du rivage s’inscrivent physiquement dans les matériaux photographiques. Réalisées dans des eaux allant de l’étang Walden aux ruisseaux éloignés de l’ouest de l’État de Washington, les estampes sont pleines de détails subtils, chacun exprimant une température légèrement différente, un type d’eau et une structure cristalline de glace se formant sur du papier photographique ; co-publié avec Yossi Milo, texte de Rebecca Solnit.

Like Riepenhoff’s previous Littoral Drift + Ecotone, this work is made in collaboration with the landscape, where elements from water and the shore physically inscribe into the photographic materials. Made in waters ranging from Walden Pond to remote creeks in western Washington, the prints are full of subtle details, each expressing a slightly different temperature, type of water, and crystalline structure of ice forming on photographic paper ; co-published with Yossi Milo, text by Rebecca Solnit.
